Our candles are made with 100% soy wax, free from toxins and animal-derived ingredients, providing a clean and eco-friendly burn.

Fragrances are carefully selected within the EU, ensuring high quality and safe daily use.

Each candle is handmade, so decorative details vary and small imperfections such as air bubbles, surface texture, or color variation are completely normal—these are signs of the artisanal process and make each piece unique.
Candles may develop “frosting,” a natural characteristic of soy wax that appears as a white, stone-like layer. This does not affect the performance of the candle.

Always place candles on a plate or in a holder made of non-combustible material to prevent fire or surface damage.

Safety First

Keep wax free of matches, wick trimmings, or other flammable debris

Keep the wick centered and trimmed to 0.5 cm (1/4 in) before each burn to ensure an even flame

Burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface for no more than 4 hours at a time
Keep out of drafts and never move a burning candle or when the wax is hot

Always keep out of reach of children and pets. Never leave a burning candle unattended
 

Best Burning Tips

Allow the wax to melt to the edges of the container (usually 1–2 hours) on the first burn to prevent tunneling

Leave about 0.5 cm (1/4 in) of wax at the bottom to avoid overheating the container

Discontinue use when 0.5 cm (1/4 in) of wax remains at the bottom
Once finished, the container can be reused for tealights or as storage

What is CLP labeling – and why is it on our candles?

Under the EU’s CLP Regulation, all products containing fragrance ingredients must be labeled with safety information — the same regulations that apply to household cleaners and detergents.

CLP legislation was designed for products that come into direct contact with skin or are disposed of down the drain. While candles and scented products are not used in this way, they are still subject to the same labeling requirements.

Warnings such as “harmful to aquatic life” apply only if the product is released into the environment or poured down the drain — not through normal home use.

Delivery

Your order will be dispatched within 03 business days from payment being cleared unless otherwise agreed. If an item is momentarily out of stock and delivery times a little longer we will inform you via email.

Returns

We very much hope you will enjoy our products, but we will refund any product you are not happy with – provided it has not been used and is returned in its original condition (including packaging) within 14 days of receipt together with a note explaining the reason for the return. If we find that the product has not been returned to us in a fully resalable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on it. Please contact us at eldhavn@gmail.com so we can provide you with the return address. We advise you to ask for proof of postage from the post office for your returned item as we cannot be held responsible for anything that gets lost or damaged in transit. These conditions do not affect your statutory rights. Please note that we do not cover return expenses.

Damaged Products

If a product you have received from us is damaged please inform us within 24 hours of delivery at eldhavn@gmail.com. In the case of damaged or faulty goods, please email images of the item as evidence. We will reimburse you in full for the cost of the damaged item if the damage directly affects the performance and the aesthetic of the item. For superficial damage in transit, or product performance issues after extended use, we will review on a case by case basis and compensate fairly.​

VAT

Retail prices on the website are inclusive of SWEDISH VAT for EU countries and exclude VAT for non-EU countries.

In the course of subscribing to a EldHavn Subscription Box, we will ask you for certain information including your name, email address, mailing address and credit card information (collectively, “Account Information”). Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed.

2. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

• Custom-made or personalized products (e.g., custom candle designs or scents)

• Products that are unsealed and cannot be returned for hygiene reasons (e.g., candles that have been lit or used)

3. Faulty or Damaged Items (Reklamation)

If you receive a product that is faulty, damaged, or incorrect:

• Contact us at eldhavn@gmail.com as soon as possible (no later than 2 months after noticing the issue).

• We will offer to replace, repair, or refund the item.

• In these cases, we will cover all associated return shipping costs.

Customers have the right to make a claim for faulty items within 3 years from the date of purchase, as long as the fault was present at delivery or due to manufacturing.
